For Real SwingersMar 14, 2008
By Edwin C. Pauzer I tried this club out and watched several golf balls turn into little black dots straight out into unfamiliar territory--the fairway. I thought the cubed club head might be a gimmick, and at this price you usually can only expect to get the shaft.
As a southpaw, (because left field almost always faces north which means my throwing arm faces south), I was limited as to my options in this cruel, right-handed world. I had no choice but a 10.5-degree loft. The senior shaft has so much "flex" it is guaranteed to wrap around your legs, so I could only take the regular shaft. (I hate that word). Actually, I like the loft that a 10.5 gives, and I can't tell one shaft from the next anyway. Even though I stand at 5' 13" it was also long enough so I didn't have to bend over and look like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
If you don't like the club, it could be the grip. So, get a (different) grip.
If you want a club that will enhance your confidence on the course or with the opposite sex, I recommend this highly. I actually had to beat the ladies off with a, `uh, club.
Well, part of that might be your typical 19th hole golf story.
If I had this club earlier, doncha see? I coulda had class; I coulda been a contenda; I coulda been somebody! But, at least it turned me into a real swinger!
STEEELLLLLLLLAAAAAA!
P.S. It also smelled nice when I opened it.

buh bye slice!!Apr 05, 2007
By C. Armendariz I love this club! i have to actually try to mis-hit the ball to make a bad shot. I can actually AIM my driver!! before when i pulled out the big stick, it was always a mystery where the ball would go, but now I know it's going to be somewhere in the fairway, or close to it. Nice blue powder coated Aldila shaft, Soft Winn grip and good looking carbon fiber head that responds well to my crazy swing, makes this club a winner. I highly recomend for your newer to intermediate golfer that wants to get down into the 80's, but not spend 399.00 on a new Nike. (i've hit the sumo2, similar results to this club)10.5 loft get's the ball up and out there.
do yourself a favor and get this bad boy. my long game just got so much better.

Worth the Experiment.Dec 09, 2008

"Golf Iz Rad"
Up until about 2 months ago I hadnt even swung a square driver and I'll have to say that it does offer benefits. With it's square shape it allows for the weight of the club head to be evenly dispursed to the face without adding weights or any head adjustments. I actually bought the club at a local sporting goods store for an even better bargain than here but I know I got lucky. I would say the price is worth the experiment of seeing if the "square" technology is something you like. It DOES work, though I'm sure that the more you spend on this type of club the better....like any other club i guess. The one problem I do have is the shaft, it's available in senior and regular here and coincidentally same at the store i bought it at. With my clubhead speed neither of these shafts is right for me (the brand is great though, I own other clubs with same brand shafts). Its flex allows the clubhead to "lag" behind my hands so much that when it finally catches up my hands are starting my follow through and the clubhead is no longer square causing slices or unwanted draws. It forces me to slow my swing and lose yardage. I recommend the shafts available here to someone with a slower swing. And for you fast hands, if you can find this club at the same price with a stiffer shaft, BUY IT..try it. Youll probably like it. Oh and one last thing....like all metals, titanium has different grades. This could be where the price break comes from. I noticed that the sound of the club compared to other Ti drivers I own was much hollower and muffled sounding as opposed to the "ping" sound I get from my taylormade R7. Overall worth it.

Affinity Cube driverAug 09, 2007
By Bobbby I am a fairly high handicap recreational golfer. I had been using a Calloway X460 before I bought the cube. I had some reservations because Affinity is not a "big name" manufacturer. However, I am pleased with my purchase. My analysis is this:
Will it dramatically improve your game and add 30 yards to your drive? No
Will it fix a terrible slice? No
however, what is will do is improve your accuracy, a lot, on a reasonably well hit shot. For me, it hits about the same distance as my Calloway; however, it is MUCH more forgiving for a off-center shot. I haven't played it yet, but based on my driving range experience, I'm thinking it could be good for 2 or 3 strokes. I'm not convinced it would do a lot of good for a low handicapper who rarely hits the ball 25 yards left or right of where they are aiming, but for us mere mortals, its a pretty good club.

Tired of slicing the ball? Hooking the ball? GET THIS!!! NOW!!Nov 03, 2007
By Justin A. Reed
"Golf Pro Wannabe"
I have tried the traditional, wooden driver, metal driver, over-sized John Daly Lion driver, Intech AXT Driver and ALL slice like some sort of banana on acid. I got this thing thinking well one more to try. And then, BOOM out drives my buddy (which is a LONG HIT golfer) with minimal effort. Ball stayed in the fairway off the tee more than any other time in my years of casual golf. GET IT. Enough said.
